Torrevieja, Costa Blanca

Costa Blanca
, with its wonderful beaches attracts millions of tourists every year. In the north the Costa Blanca starts with Denia and Javea. Down through Moraira, Calpe, Denia and Benidorm. Ending in the south of the Costa Blanca where you will find Guardamar, Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa.

With a mix of traditional Spain, rural and agricultural areas, long established holiday resorts and residential zones, there is something here for everyone.

You can travel all the way along the Costa Blanca, right next to the coast, on its very good coastal road.

There are many attractions alongside the Costa Blanca, many of them specifically for tourists like the entertainment park Terra Mitica in Benidorm, Elche Safari Park At Elche near Santa Pola.

There are many Water Parks like Aquopolis in Torrevieja and  many wonderful Beaches and Bays.

There are many fantastic Golf Courses situated all over the Costa Blanca. The Costa Blanca is a real Golfers dream.

The Costa Blanca is also well known for its mild climate and enjoys sunshine for in excess of 330 days per year. The sun is at its hottest during the summer months, with temperatures rarely falling below 30C (86F). Winters are typically very mild with average temperatures hovering around 18C (64F).

This part of Spain is famous for its salt lakes. This has a major knock on effect on humidity levels and as a result the air is much (more pleasant) dryer than in other parts of Spain and Europe. Owing to the areas low humidity levels and mild climate,  the WHO (World Health Organisation) have rated this part of Spain as one of the healthiest climates on the planet.
